Do I have to change my exhaust system or muffler?

No, the MAXHAUST Active Sound Kit is designed to be installed separately in your vehicle, without any modification or changes to your exhaust system. Everything remains stock!

How long is the warranty?

Can I control more than one car with an Active Sound Kit in the Maxhaust App?

Yes, the Maxhaust App features a "Garage" where you can switch between and control all your cars equipped with an Active Sound Kit.

When I sell my car, can I take my Active Sound Kit to my new car?

Absolutely! You can transfer your Maxhaust Active Sound Kit to another car, even if it's a different model or brand, as long as it has a CAN Bus. Additional mounting material is available on our online store or by contacting us.

Can I use the MAXHAUST Digital exhaust booster even if my car is not listed?

Yes, as long as your car has a CAN Bus (nearly every vehicle built after 2000), our Exhaust Booster will work. The setup process for new cars and models is simple and can be done remotely!

What if I want to switch off the Exhaust Sound?

No problem! You can deactivate it using the App or existing car buttons assigned for this purpose.

Can I control the volume of the sound?

Yes, you can adjust the volume using the App or assigned existing car buttons.

Do I always have to control the exhaust booster with the smartphone app?

No! With our Bridge App's Scene generator, you can use existing car knobs and functions, which vary from car to car and are continually expanding.

Can I install the Active Sound Booster by myself?

It's possible if you're familiar with basic skills like drilling holes and connecting wires. However, we recommend having an experienced car mechanic present to assist with the installation.

How long does it take to install a MAXHAUST Active Sound kit?

Installation time varies depending on the car model, the number of speakers, and whether you want it installed under the car or inside a trunk compartment. Typically, it takes 2-4 hours for a standard installation by an experienced installer.

Can you hear the sound only inside or also outside of the car?

The MAXHAUST Exhaust Booster produces realistic engine sounds outside the car, enhancing the driving experience for both the driver and audience.

What is a CAN-Bus?

The CAN bus was developed for automotive applications to enable communication between electronic devices in your car. It allows data generated by your vehicle, such as speed, RPM, and other metrics, to be provided and read out by the MAXHAUST Bridge.

How long do I have to wait for my Active Sound to arrive?

Your Active Sound Booster is usually ready to leave the warehouse on the next business day and typically arrives at your door within 2-4 days.

Does the Maxhaust Active Sound increase the power of the vehicle?

No, the Maxhaust Active Sound Kit is solely for enhancing the sound and driving experience, without affecting the car's power or performance.

Does the Maxhaust Active Sound increase or decrease the MPG of the car?

No, the Maxhaust Active Sound Kit does not affect the MPG of a vehicle.
